Disclosure before anything else: this comparison is written by a direct competitor. We are on the list below. Read everything here the way you would read a Ford dealer’s review of Chevy trucks, and check the claims yourself, which is easy because every factual claim about every company below was verified on that company’s own website in July 2026.
What Roofing Webmasters actually is (verified)
Credit where due, from their own site: 16+ years in roofing marketing, a claim of “1,000+ roofing companies” served, services spanning SEO, web design, local SEO, reputation management and their AEO offering, plus proprietary tools like DataPins for jobsite check-in content. They advertise month-to-month terms, warn against long contracts, and offer a refund on the initial charge: “If for whatever reason you aren’t completely satisfied with your new website, we’ll refund the amount, and you can walk away free of charge.” Those are genuinely pro-customer positions.
Now the part that sends roofers here. The published pricing consists of one homepage banner: “$99 to Start! Call for Details.” The FAQ describes “a small charge to each new client’s credit card,” after which “you’ll simply switch to a regular month-to-month fee,” and that fee appears nowhere on the site. Their pricing URLs return 404. The monthly number, the number you will actually live with, is delivered by phone.
So the honest summary: a legitimate, experienced, roofing-only operation running a productized model at scale, with an entry offer where the pricing should be. If you want a dedicated operator, published pricing, or market exclusivity, the alternatives below exist for you.

The alternatives, verified
The Roofer SEO Company (us). The bias you were promised. One flat plan, $3,500/month, everything included (site build, hosting, local SEO, content, technical, lead-tracking dashboard), month to month, no setup fees, you own everything, and one roofing company per service area: your competitors cannot hire us while you are a client. The whole price is published, the model is explained to the dollar, and the fit is explicit: established roofers doing $1M+ with a crew of five or more. Not for startups, and we do not run ads or social.
CinchLocal. The closest philosophical cousin to us we verified: roofing-only (“we only work with roofing contractors”), market exclusivity (“we only work with 1 roofer per location”), month-to-month with a “cancel anytime” subscription and a claimed 350+ roofing projects. What they do not publish: their own price. Their page cites an industry range ($1,000 to $3,500+) but the Contractor SEO Stack price arrives by phone. If exclusivity matters and you want a second quote against ours, this is the call.
Hook Agency. The premium a la carte option, and the most price-transparent large agency in the niche: Local SEO from $2,800/month, AEO $4,000 (or $2,000 bundled), PPC from $2,000, Meta ads from $3,000, websites $12K to $24K (up to $50K for complex builds), with their own admission that they are “more expensive than many companies.” Design and content firepower for growth-mode trades companies; we compared them fully here.
JobNimbus Marketing. Worth knowing because it answers a question you might have: Roofer Marketers, a name that appears on older alternative lists, no longer exists as a standalone agency; its pricing page now redirects to JobNimbus Marketing. The successor is roofing-focused (websites, SEO, Google and Meta ads) inside the JobNimbus software family, publishes no pricing, and uses term agreements rather than month-to-month: their FAQ says “we offer agreements designed to support long-term growth. Specific terms depend on services.” Sensible if you live in JobNimbus already; check the terms carefully given everything we have written about contracts.
RoofingSites. A roofing-specialist system built around exclusive leads: “All leads and appointments are exclusive to your company,” with a stated mission to “help 100 roofing companies double in size by 2028.” No published pricing; the model starts with a scheduled call. The exclusivity language is the draw; get the price and scope in writing.
Roofer’s Guild. Roofing-specialist agency claiming 250+ roofing companies served, with Google Ads, local SEO, review management, and their GuildMapz geodata tool. No published pricing. A reasonable additional quote for roofers comparing specialist shops.
How to choose between all of these
Three sorting questions beat any ranking:
- Published pricing or phone pricing? Only Hook and we publish real numbers. Everyone else quotes by call, which tells you how the negotiation will go. (65% of homeowners prefer contractors with transparent pricing; we think roofers deserve the same courtesy.)
- Productized scale or dedicated attention? A thousand clients means proven systems and thinner attention; a capped-client boutique means the reverse. Neither is wrong; know which you are buying.
- Exclusivity or not? If your agency also serves the roofer across town, you are funding both sides of your own war. Only we and CinchLocal advertise one-per-market among this list.
Then take the ten questions into every call, including one with us. And if you want to know whether your market is even open with us before you shop, get a free audit: if your area is taken, I will say so and tell you which of the companies above fits your situation best.
Frequently asked questions
- What are the best alternatives to Roofing Webmasters?
- Depends on what you are correcting for. For published flat pricing and market exclusivity: The Roofer SEO Company ($3,500/month, everything included, one roofer per market). For another roofing-only shop with exclusivity: CinchLocal. For published a la carte pricing at the premium end: Hook Agency. For software-plus-marketing under one roof: JobNimbus Marketing. For exclusive-lead systems: RoofingSites. Each is compared below with verified specifics.
- How much does Roofing Webmasters cost?
- They do not publish it. As of our July 2026 check, the site advertises '$99 to Start! Call for Details,' describes 'a small charge to each new client's credit card' followed by 'a regular month-to-month fee,' and offers a refund on the initial charge if you are not satisfied. No plan names or monthly prices appear anywhere on the site, and the pricing URLs return 404. The month-to-month fee is quoted by phone.
- Is Roofing Webmasters legitimate?
- By every visible marker, yes: 16+ years in business, a claim of 1,000+ roofing companies served, month-to-month terms, a refund on the initial charge, and proprietary tools like DataPins. The reasons roofers seek alternatives are model preferences, not legitimacy: undisclosed monthly pricing, productized service at scale, and the question of how much attention any one account gets among a thousand.
- What should I ask any roofing marketing agency before signing?
- The same ten questions regardless of name: who owns the site and content if you leave, contract and exit terms, who does the work, whether they serve your competitors, how leads are tracked, what reporting shows, the 90-day plan, what they need from you, exact scope for the price, and proof. Any agency that answers all ten cleanly is worth considering.
